Barrier free wilderness opportunities for "Every-Body".
The Accessible Wilderness Society is working towards building Canada's first...
"Universally Designed" Wilderness Lodge and Campground Facility...
here on Vancouver Island in beautiful British Columbia.
Have a look around to learn more about our Project and our Vancouver Island Travel Guide. We are proud to be promoting barrier free tourism here in British Columbia.
You Can Help
The Accessible Wilderness Society is for "Every-Body" so it stands to reason it will take "Everyone" to help make it happen. The AWS needs volunteers who are willing to act as advisors or possibly to become a Board of Direct in order to share their expertise as this Project moves forward. If you have experience in any of the following areas or if you share our passion then we'd love to hear from you.
- General Contracting
- Grant Writing
